We bought this in July due to a kitchen renovation. It cleans just as well as the old, and I think it is quieter. I am not as happy with the rack configurations, though. I can't fit as many dishes in, and the knives do not want to stay in place on the third rack like they used to in the old KitchenAid. On the whole, I am happy, but I do wish the racks hadn't changed!

This dishwasher is supposed to be among the best-not a fan. Dishes seem to be clean but it sucks to load. Top rack doesn't hold glasses well, they tip over; several have broken. Spacing is also not the best. Bottom rack is fine; third rack (very top) is okay-not worth extra $$. Door doesn't close easily. Best thing is printshield finish. My 15 year old dishwasher was better. This not worth the $$.

My old machine died and this is the replacement. It does take quite a bit longer to run a normal cycle but my dishes come out clean, dry, and spotless. Using a rinse aid is a must with our hard water. My only complaint is the top (3rd) rack is very shallow. Only flat items fit.

I bought this product 7 months ago and tried all recommended detergents and cycles in the manual and whatever I found online. Since day 1, dishware is always stinking and it does not rinse thoroughly. I usually run the rinse only feature (which does not dry) and it doesn't get better. I tried other detergents (packs, dry, liquid, you name it) and nothing seems to work. I just wanted to have my dishes clean, dry, and not strongly smelling detergent or drying oil (drying oil is required to dry, otherwise load will be soaking wet when cycle finishes.) Third rack is a waste of space and does not clean well, either. Positive feature? Yes, it is very quiet. Now I use my brand new dishwasher as the most expensive dish-drying rack. I am very, very upset with this purchase and customer care says "it is what it is" :( I paid an extra $200 because I wanted it in white, should've purchased the cheapest in store.

We just ot this new dishwasher installed 3 days ago, and haven't even gotten to run it yet, but I expect it will perform well, as did our previous dishwasher, which was very similar to this one. This is going to sound petty, BUT although I knew the handle would not be black (the older one perfectly coordinated with the contour of handles of our other Kitchenaid appliances in the kitchen) and would be stainless instead, I didn't realize how 'sharp' the ends of the handle would be. I had thought the handle would be more flat to the front of the washer on both ends and contoured like the previous one. This is FAR from the design of the handle, and my thigh has bruises to prove this handle wasn't very well thought out from an ergonomic standpoint. (I am not clutzy, and the dishwasher is not on the end of a cabinet; I am sure at some point I will get used to walking a few inches further from the cabinet to avoid contact with the handle.) Before the old dishwasher got hauled off by the installer I made a request that the old handle replace the new one, but that wasn't possible, according to the installer. That is the only reason for the 4-star rating rather than a 5-star rating.

I got this at the Sears going out of business sale, and there were only 3 options left, so I chose this model because it was the best price. I had low expectations because I hate new appliances with all the new water saving features because they don't seem to clean as well. But this turned out to be a great choice, I LOVE this dishwasher! It is so quiet I had to double check to make sure it was running! I tested its ability to clean by running a dish with dried macaroni and cheese without rinsing or scrubbing first, and was shocked that it came out spotless. This is definitely a good dishwasher, and I am very pleased with its performance. It also loads very nicely.

very quite, doesn't seem to dry dishes even when we use "high heat, and extended drying. Silver ware slots are small. Still getting use to it. It may get better.

We purchased this dishwasher to replace an old washer that came with the house. We had a Kitchenaid dishwasher 18 yrs ago and loved it. This is so quite and features to wash any dish/pans we could throw at it. Wished we had gotten a Kitchenaid sooner

We've had this dishwasher for a few months now. You cannot even tell it is running it is so quiet. The gliding action of the racks is so smooth that we kept slamming it until we got used to the frictionless glide. The interior stay crystal clean and so are the dishes after running it.

I bought this a month ago and it is a super touchy machine. You click the buttons and shut it and if anyone barely walk by or not does it or touches it it stops the cleaning cycle without you realizing it and so when you come back to get your clean dishes you realize that has not ran sometimes taking many times to restart before getting through a full cycle. Very frustrating would not recommend

My Dishwasher

I bought my dishwasher 5 months ago. It looks good in my kitchen and works great! I like the delay feature and the upper utensil tray. The best part about my dishwasher is that it washes dishes very well; it drains correctly and it dries thoroughly. My only minor complaint is the cycles run longer than my old dishwasher but the dishes are clean!
