We bought this last month as our 43 year old GE finally developed health problems. Love the bottom freezer but not really any more room in the fridge than my old one. In fact I can't stuff as much in it as my old one.

Great refrigerator with bottom freezer but you'd think they could include ice cube trays in non-ice maker models. Also, it seems to run a little louder than my old Kenmore refrigerators.

my old whirlpool that was 29 yrs old was making noise from compressor .So i bought this refrigerator to have on hand in case old one failed . but it kept working for another five yrs and i decided to start my new one before it got to old. But it works great and love the freezer on bottom. Hope i get the same service as the old unit.

I bought this about a month ago. So far so good - except the handle does not provide enough room to put your hand around it. Very poor handle design. If I were to start over with my purchase - I would avoid this refrigerator in favor of a model with a more ergonomic handle.

No complaints so far...its beautiful and does the job. I got it for the bottom freezer...lots of room for everything I had in the large top freezer. There is a wide shelf on the door that holds my ice cube bin perfectly.

I love our new refrigerator with bottom freezer. One of the things that I love most, that was totally unexpected, is the design of the door with it's deep shelves, and the recessed shelves of the interior. I have only one space in our kitchen for a refrigerator. The door opens 90 degrees into a wall. The design of the deep door shelves and the recessed interior allows me to access the entire refrigerator, including pulling out all of the shelves and bins.

I bought a new stove and refrigerator and am so happy with all the new features the old appliances did not have. I love the freezer on the bottom and it is so convenient to get to. The glass top stove is a blessing and you don't have burners to take off and scrub. Just wipe with a cloth and it is clean. I am very happy with both appliances.

I found out I was eligible for a new frig, so I applied...never dreamt I'd recieve such a wonderful appliance!! Being in my 70s...the bottom freezer is a blessed feature, it is so wonderful to be able to see & reach things in the upper refrig part! Don't know hour to add photo.

I wanted a bottom freezer like my old one. I made a mistake in getting one that had a door instead of a basket that pulled out. The top shelf of this freezer does not pull out and I have to stand on my head to get things off the shelf. The small basket does pull out. There is less freezer room than in my 18 year old one.

I got this frig about a month ago and am very pleased with it. Lighting is bright making contents easy to see. It runs quietly and hopefully will save on my electric bill. Freezer is nice size and frig is a bit smaller than my last but still acceptable.

I purchased this refrigerator a couple of weeks ago and like how it looks. I really like the different shelving configurations that are available to make use of the space. The only downfall is that it does not have as much space as my old refridgerator but because we can move the shelves we are able to use the space available efficiently.

Works great so far. Well lit and roomy. Nice adjustable shelving. Fairly quiet. Easy ice maker installation. At initial startup I was impressed by how quickly the unit cooled to proper temperature, which was about an hour.

I have been using my refrigerator 3 weeks and am amazed at the energy efficiency that has taken place over the years. I have a neat little meter called a Kill a Watt that keeps track of how many watts something uses and even calculates the cost. I would let it record for two weeks to get a good estimation. My old refrigerator was costing $249 a year. The new Whirlpool running under the same conditions $69.64 year and it keeps ice cream just perfect. My biggest complaint is that the freezer basket only pulls out 4 inches making it difficult to access anything in the back of it. The basket can't even be removed to clean because the door would need to swing open more then 90 degrees and my wall prevents that. I am also not happy with the shelf arrangements in the refrigerator. The big crispers seem to waste a lot of space and I wish they were
on individual shelves so one could be removed.

My LG conked out after 7 years just wouldn't cool anymore, had it recharged, but less then a month later same problem. Called customer service and they don't cover labor...$200 to diagnose the problem and $200 on the back end to install. That's just totally unacceptable. I've have a stack washer/dryer by whirlpool and a garage fridge. I also buy at my local PC Richards who have an excellent warranty. They paid for everything....labor and parts. Will never buy any LG appliances again with their current warranty policy.

My wife and I bought this refrigerator several weeks ago. We absolutely love it. It has lots of room, in both fridge and freezer, and is very easy to get at the food items. We previously had a side by side, but we love the freezer on bottom design much better. Keeps food cold... we have a fridge thermometer which we checked in both fridge and freezer, and temperatures are just right. Love this fridge!

I chose this design because I use the top portion much more often than the bottom freezer. Everything (food) is visible & within easy reach. With the traditional (top freezer) style you have to stoop & search in the fresh food section. My preference was to remove one door shelf (extremely easy) & two upper trays for even more personal convenience.
