We have had this fridge for a few months now and are very pleased with it. It is very spacious, excellent temperature regulation, and has a nice, clean look that fits in well with our kitchen. The price was very reasonable as well.

I had the refrigerator for 3 years and a computer part went out. It was going to cost over $500 for the part!!!!! Whirlpool a refrigerator should last over 3 years!!!!!!

It does keep food cold. The ice maker is so badly designed. If you don't flip the bar the ice over runs.

It was delivered June 19th but the shelf in the freezer was missing. I'm still waiting for the shelf almost 2 weeks later. The "recommended" setting for the temperature doesn't keep the refrigerator section below 40 and the next colder setting keeps it too cold at 34. We do not live in a hot temperature area so it's not the room temperature causing a problem.

Basically the same refrigerator I purchased 29 years ago. Great "no nonsense" refrigerator. Very large storage area for an "old fashioned" refrigerator without all of the not needed whistles and bells of today's overpriced units.

We hooked up the icemaker...This is the first time we have had an automatic icemaker and we are enjoying it immensely!!! The freezer has lots of space as well as the fridge.The shelves are very sturdy too.We also like the handleleless doors because our great nieces and nephews liked to swing on our old refrigerator door!

Bought this 10 months ago and it is no longer working properly. We have been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks! Local retailer and Whirlpool so unprofessional. 3 techs have been out. Finally said they will replace but new refrigerator will only have 2 month warranty because that is what's left on the original "lemon". Really? I don't think so.

Beautiful fridge with all the right stuff in just the right places. Love it....except after less than one year of gentle use the unit won't cool properly or keep the freezer items frozen. I'd give it 5 stars if it worked...for something other than a boat anchor. Prior to purchase I had read other reviews with similar warnings, but I thought maybe that's just for "them"... No such luck, now I'm one of "them" too. Why do even reputable businesses make and sell, err, junk? They don't have to, you know. They just do because, well, they can and consumers are anonymous automatons, so why not? So, plunk down your $1800 and take your chance. Maybe, just maybeeee you won't become one of "us".

Bought one 21 months ago. I've had 50 year old fridges that performed and cooled better. If the freezer was cold then the fridge wasn't and vice versa. Temp controls were difficult to understand. Finally gave up and bought a new Fridgedaire a day ago, and my wife, daughter, and I all like it. As for the Whirlpool, I've donated it to Carnival Cruise line for use as an anchor.

We replaced all of our kitchen appliances and specifically sought out whirlpool products for a number of reasons. We had been happy with the past whirlpool appliances performance, price, and wanted to support the made in America brand. We were very disheartened by the refrigerator (#WRT348FMEZ) when upon delivery and installation - we realized there was no deli drawer. We assumed a deli drawer would be a standard part of the frig as it is not listed as an optional piece, the instruction manual illustrates it, the salesmen also said it came with a deli drawer and the picture on the website of this model shows a deli drawer. We were willing to pay extra for a deli drawer to be installed but have not been able to get any source of satisfaction from Whirlpool who said all of the above 3 sources mentioning a deli drawer were all incorrect. Whirlpool says a deli drawer installation is not an option for this model. The gentlemen at Lowes contacted Whirlpool while we were investigating the addition of a deli drawer. Whirlpool was very eager to state that all three sources mentioned above were mistakes including the manual and their website. They seemed very uninterested in helping us solve this problem.
The picture is still on their website of this model showing a deli drawer. Another issue with this refrigerator is that the edges of the doors are very sharp! Other then these two issues, we were happy with our choice. We will be replacing our dryer and washer in the very near future but sadly, we'll be thinking long and hard about more Whirlpool appliances.

Just had my landlord purchase this unit. Not impressed!! I am told you cannot order a shelf for the freezer that goes all the way across even though it appears that one can be used (waste of valuable freezer space). The drawers did not come with the tabs to adjust humidity as shown in all the photos (just holes). The refrigerator section either is too warm (on recommended setting) or it freezes all my produce if I adjust to the next level. If I had the option I would return to store and purchase a different model.

We bought this fridge a month ago and the temperature settings are terrible. It's either too cold and freezing/ruining all of our fresh produce or not cold enough so that freezer items are not fully frozen. I would not recommend.

I've had this refrigerator for about two months and so far, so good. Had to turn it down a bit from the factory recommended setting because fruits were freezing. Disappointed that there is no meet drawer, but we bought a basket that serves the purpose. But overall, it is doing the job and looks very nice in our kitchen.

We had power outage. My brother loaned us a generator. A surge caused our refrigerator to go out. We didn't have a lot of time to shop. We found this at the very first store we went to. It was a good price so we loaded it up and brought it home! It has no handles in the front and I love that. I am very happy with it so far. I have one question...there is clear plastic on all the stainless steel parts...some of it is peeling off. Should I take it off????

Great size and all, but I do not recommend using the ice machine without a filter! I hoped the taste would go away, but 6 months later I'm still not able to use the ice. I will unfortunately have to invest in a filter, but I do feel that it should come with the product already. Making an investment like this would have been that much more worth it and my rating would have been higher. Other downside is the refrigerator settings are too basic and a little hard to understand. You have to play with them and wait the full 24 hours to see which temp will work best for your food. Also, the light bulb didn't even last a month! Something so simple yet cheap apparently.

This is a wonderful basic fridge. Lots of space, good light. The shelves and bins are all clear which adds the visibility. The sliding bin is handy game has well. Fingerprints are hard to see on the exterior, and food bits wipe off easy on the inside.Only drawback: the control panel is centered above the top shelf in the fridge. It hangs down far enough that a gallon of milk is hard to get in and out with out bumping the control panel. It would be great if it was located on the side of the fridge wall.A bonus would be be if there was a freezer light.

It's what I wanted, good size, not expensive. I like that it only has 2 drawers that way the shelves have more available space. I like that there are compartments in the door. I'm not trying to impress anyone with how much I spent on a refrigerator or how fancy it looks. I want a product that will last. The shortcoming is the little shelf that holds the tray for ice. It should really have a full width shelf so items aren't just piled on top of each other. That way I wouldn't have had to cut the shelf I saved from the old non working refrigerator down one inch so it would fit on the slots that are already in the freezer.

When it was installed, we found the ice maker tubing was slit and leaked water all over my brand new wood floor. Company had someone come fix it. Did notice that same week that the doors are not hung level and am not thrilled with that either but the seal seems ok. Less than a month old.

Just had it installed and it seems to work perfectly. Lots of solid ice cubes. Keeps food at desired temperature in the freezer and fridge. My only complaint is that there should me more cjpoices for spacing for the shelves. I want to keep 1.75 L wine bottle with a cork on the lower shelf and that's difficult

Wish that the freezer wire shelf that holds the single ice maker was extended to make a second shelf in the freezer compartment-this would make for a more orderly. compact storage of freezer items.
